About Cole Winters
Cole Winters writes speculative thrillers built on real history, the kind of book where you stop mid-chapter to check whether something actually happened.
He has been writing since childhood, when he won more praise for his poems and stories than for anything else he attempted. At university he led a literary society and edited a newspaper column. Years of blogging and abandoned first chapters followed. This one survived.
The Last Latitude is his first novel. Six people from five countries travel to the bottom of the world and find a record that stops explaining itself. It is an Antarctic conspiracy thriller for readers of Blake Crouch and Dan Brown, out on 17 September 2026.
He is drawn to the places where documented history and plausible speculation sit uncomfortably close together.
